Katy Gough, 26, is a press officer for Manchester Airport. Katy joined the small but award winning press team over 4 years ago and has dealt with crises such as volcanic ash, snow and swine flu, to handling daily media enquiries and filming opportunities.
Katy first came up with the idea for the airport to get actively involved in social media and now shares the workload with the team from building their twitter followers to over 22,000 in just two years.
She is also involved with the National Autistic Society and created the Worlds first guide for parents of children with autism to help with the process of going through an airport. This has been met with international acclaim.
Prior to the airport role Katy freelanced at a variety of regional and national newspapers and magazines.
At university Dan studied Accounting, Management & Business Information Systems, after graduating he joined the accountancy practice KPMG as an auditor working on clients such as the Co-operative Group, ICI and AMEC.
Shortly after qualifying as a chartered accountant Dan decided to move into industry as a commercial accountant at MAG. He worked in several roles in finance before moving to the commercial part of the business to become the Head of Aviation Pricing & Commercial Analysis.
Over the last year he has worked closely with all our major airline customers while also providing decision support to their sales and marketing teams.
Caroline Plant is the Marketing Director at Manchester Airports Group (MAG). She is currently also serving an interim position as Aviation Director for Manchester Airport. She is on the board of the Air Services Development Fund and has built an extensive network in the Leisure Travel Industry, the Low Cost Airline and the Full Service Scheduled Airlines’ sectors.
Previously Caroline has served as Deputy Commercial Director for the Regional Airports within MAG; Head of Marketing for Avro plc, the flight only consolidator within the Monarch Group, and Head of Corporate Sales for Virgin Atlantic Airways.
She has 14 years of extensive sales and marketing experience including Digital Strategy, Business Development Sales and Marketing, Brand Strategy, CRM and Aviation Development
